Éamon de Valera, of Irish Political Uprising interest, a silver plated tray, The American-born Irish statesman and political leader and founder of the Fianna Fáil party was arrested and sentenced to death for his part in the 1916 Uprising. Released for a variety of reasons including his American citizenship he later became President of Ireland from 1959 to 1973, Inscribed 'Presented to Éamon de Valera by Fianna Fáil for Services to The State, 21cm x 18cm.
