A large gilt bronze medal commemorating the Execution of King Louis XVI during the French Revolution. The Obverse has a bust of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette facing right. The Reverse having the public execution by guillotine on Jan 21st 1795. 51.0mm diameter, 67.57g.
